Some newspaper ads with valentine’s ads in them

Have your child cut out some of their favorite valentine’s items from the ads. About five or six.

Take some yarn that is different lengths and glue or tape the pictures to the yarn.
Glue or tape some newspaper ads around the paper towel roll then glue or tape the yarn with the pictures onto the paper towel roll so the pictures at the bottom. Hang it in your child’s room for a cute valentine decoration
